My first time…
I’ve always considered myself pretty technologically advanced. In my first job in public accounting I taught Lotus and Word Perfect to partners. Being the youngest guy there I thought that was pretty cool. I was always able to help everyone with their computer problems and give them advice on stuff like that. Then it happened…one of my sons at about age 12 suddenly knew more about computers than me. From there it went downhill…
Now I find myself deciding I want to start a blog. About 12 noon today I decided that I should have a blog. About 12:05 I was signed up and had a $5 bet with both sons that I would have 100 subscribers by the end of the summer. I think thats pretty do-able if you ask me.
Technology is supposed to make life easier for everyone – something to get your tasks done faster. So as technology grows so do the opportunities and the time we have for free time becomes less. Personally I love sitting in front of the TV watching Everybody loves Raymond or something I find really funny. But in this day in age we find ourselves busier because we have to update our blogs, check our texts, check our email, update our personal web pages, upgrade our software… So as technology expands to supposedly free up our days, we have less free time to spend. Its a paradox.
So I hope you decide to subscribe because I promise my writing will be much more interesting than this.
